Another view of Red-necked Stint in small pools at the south end of Troutman Lake. You can clearly see the streaked crown, a short, fine bill, the namesake clear, unstreaked, rufous face and throat, rows of small dark spots on the shoulder, brilliant white underparts and the bright rufous based scapulars and coverts of an adult in breeding plumage.
